Wrestling City Championships Recap
The Wrestling City Championships were a tremendous success this past Friday at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex. The all-day event delivered thrilling matches and showcased the grit, determination, and sportsmanship of our student-athletes from across the city.
From the opening bout to the final match, competitors demonstrated outstanding skill and resilience on the mats, making for an exciting championship atmosphere.
A sincere thank you goes out to the dedicated coaches and volunteers whose countless hours of preparation and support made both the wrestling season and the championship event possible.
Congratulations to all athletes who won individual titles in their respective weight classes!
And a big congratulations goes to Sir Winston Churchill High School for securing the overall team championships in both the Boys’ and Girls’ divisions — an exceptional achievement!!
Best of luck to all of the wrestlers who are advancing to compete at the SSA Provincials, hosted at Medicine Hat High School, March 13th and 14th.
