Calgary will send eight teams to the 4A basketball provincials as well as one team to the 3A provincials

After confirmation from the governing body (ASAA), five Senior 4A boys teams (3 automatic berths and 2 wildcards) will be making the trip to Edmonton. Three Senior 4A girls teams (3 automatic bids) will be joining them, from March 16-18, to compete for 4A Provincial supremacy.
 
The boys teams that will be competing:
 

1. All Saints Legends
2. Centennial Coyotes
3. Lester B. Pearson Patriots
4. St. Mary’s Saints
5. Sir Winston Churchill Bulldogs

 
The first four schools listed are D1 semi finalists (these two games are being played on March 9^th) and the SWC is the final entry due to their strong provincial ranking through the 2022-2023 season.
 
With the number of teams already qualifying, a boys 3^rd place game will not be scheduled.
 
On  the girls side, teams competing in the provincials will be both semifinal winners from games being played on March 9^th. The third berth will be the winner of third place game (which is being played @ Centennial HS on March 11^th @ 1:00 pm.
 
The 3A representative from the Calgary region is St. Martin de Porres Kodiaks boys team.
